Galvanized Sheet Metal
Electro-galvanized steel coils not only possess the mechanical properties of typical cold-rolled products and similar processability, but they also exhibit excellent corrosion resistance.
The zinc galvanizing thickness ranges from 10 to 30g/m2, typically around 20g/m2. To meet various application requirements, different surface treatments are applied during the production process, resulting in the following product types:
- P:Pure zinc sheet with phosphate film treatment, generally used as a primer for painting.
- C:Pure zinc sheet with chromate film treatment, typically used as a substrate for laminating.
- AFP: Pure zinc sheet with chromate film treatment and anti-fingerprint film treatment, widely used for computer cases, furniture, household appliances, and stamped components.
- L:Pure zinc sheet with chromate film treatment and self-lubricating film treatment, commonly used for motor casings.
- R:Pure zinc sheet with weather-resistant film treatment, suitable for automotive sheet metal parts.
The main applications of GI coils are in colored substrates, construction materials, computer cases, furniture, slide rails, air ducts, and more. GA coils are primarily used for automotive sheet metal and home appliances, like refrigerators and air conditioners. The zinc galvanization thickness can be customized according to customer requirements, with appropriate surface treatments, such as chromate or anti-fingerprint treatment to provide high-quality and diverse hot-dip galvanized products.
